I feel this one is much better but went too light in value.

It's been a while since I did a figure sketch. This one was more difficult than usual, done on 8 x 10 Mi Teintes, smooth side.

Small rose sketch

Finally tried the small sennelier pastel card sample that came with the pastel set. Can't say I care for it but then a small sample doesn't really give a full impression.

First Commission Portrait

This is my first commission portrait painting :) I can’t believe the amount of stress that I had knowing that it was being paid for and for some reason, I couldn’t get into my usual mode like I normally do when the piece doesn’t matter. Good thing I still got two months more to produce a better painting, but don’t know if I should try to savage this one up or start a new one …..
