Early morning oil sketch

A small 5 x 7 oil sketch on illustration board, spent approximately 1.5 hours on it.

Haven't done much since the 20th, only a couple of things.

Another new toy

Built another pochade box, well actually, a small prototype to determine the feasibility of a larger version. This prototype is primarily for 5 x 7 1/8 inch panels. It measures 8.5 x 7.25 x 1.5 inches and weighs around one pound, maybe 2. And it will hold 2 wet panels in the lid with 3/16 inch separation.

Built another pochade

Built another small pochade box, capable of holding up to 10 inches in width. It's quite lightweight but not too thrilled with the method used to secure the panel in place.
