Not sure about this

Working on this and not too sure I am happy with it, just doesn't look right. Might have to leave it alone for a couple of days then look at it with fresh eyes.

Preliminary study

Been a couple of months since I agreed to do a couple of portraits for a friend of mine and have been putting it off. Anyhow, going to try to get it done in the next couple of days if I can muster up enough time and energy. This is a quick small preliminary study of one of the portraits in preparation for the larger painting.

Portrait Sketch

Been at home in Massachusetts for a few days now and almost not having any art supplies here, I am bored out of my mind. Though found a carbon pencil and did a quick portrait sketch of a female banquet server at Foxwoods with some alignment issues.

Profile Portrait Sketch

Having a lack of inspiration of late, the creative juices hasn't quite been flowing and trying to change that. This is the second day in a row that I have done at least one sketch and hope to keep it going, however, that might be somewhat difficult since most days I am often too tired after working but will try to put in an effort.

Quick Sketch

Finally got around to doing some sketching and sure feel a bit rusty. This is one of the sketches, the only one done with pastels, and the rest are graphite sketches that I am a bit reluctant to show :D
