Sister's other dog

Another quick pastel painting, this time of my sister's other dog. this was done on 9 x 12 inch black Mi Teintes, smooth side, and cropped down to 8.5 x 11 inches.

Molly

I purchased a 20 piece half stick set of Sennelier a while back to practice and experiment with but never got around to using it. So today, I got it out and did a quick painting of one of my sister's dogs, Molly. She is such an adorable little princess :) It was done in a 8 x 11 inch area of a 9 x 12 inch watercolor paper primed with colourfix.

Learning to paint landscapes

Every now and again, I'll try to paint a landscape ... still not quite there, still having trouble selecting the right green to use, but I think it has gotten a wee bit better ...
