Pastel ground experiment

Having tried various ingredients such as marble dust and pumice to create a ground mixture for pastels, I am now trying aluminum oxide, the same ingredient I believe is used on the Wallis Sanded paper. I like this mixture quite a bit and it allows me to adjust the size of the tooth by using different grit sizes thus allowing me to adjust it to my own personal preference.
