A little soft pastel sketch

Did this while watching football, I was surprised it came out half decent.

Got some time to do a little painting

Finally got everything ready for the holidays and got some free time to do a little painting. Did this with a limited palette of titanium white, yellow ochre, venetian red, french ultramarine blue, and payne's gray using an image reference. The photo I took made most of the red disappear, will have to scan it when it is dry.

It has been so long since I last used the pan pastels, I think I forgotten how. This was such a struggle to even get it to a presentable state, I need to start using these more often.
